Can you look at the /Library/Tenon/WebServer/Logs/error_log and see if you see any error messages?

Eric

Eric,

I installed the new php package and now my entire web server is dead in the water. After a couple of
reboots, none of the websites come up.

I can not get into /itools_admin/, the web page GUI.

Terminal and Timbuktu work though.

Any ideas? Pleas help me.

Hi,

The HTML was not updated, but the package is actually updated. I just
updated the HTML file now. Thanks for the reminder.

Eric,

Thanks. I went to the download page and saw php 4.3.2 but it said
last updated 07/09/2003.

Is this the one you meant or am I looking in the wrong place? If the
wrong place, please
submit a URL.

Thanks,

Hi,

I just uploaded another build PHP package to the download page. This
one includes Zend Optimizer by default. Therefore, it will save you
the time to run Zend Optimizer.
Hope this helps.

The above is where I am at in the terminal for an install. Please help me.

Hi,

These are the instructions I got from Eric...

-------------

Hi Tim,

I got Zend Optimizer 2.1 to work with iTools 7.1 today. I ran
install-tty, and specify /Library/Tenon/PHP/lib for php.ini
location
and /Library/Tenon/WebServer/Executables for Apache 2 location.
You
need to make sure that you have Q30020901 system update installed.
This update changes Apache 2 to use prefork setting instead of
threaded. This will increase the stability of Apache2+PHP. Hope
this helps.

regards,
Eric

-------------

I got it to work this way...

Tim

Yes, I was able to make it work , but not on iTools provided
package.

Probably it will work with iTools package also, but iTools places PHP files in slightly different places, it may or may not be a problem.
