In attempting to configure SSI's for iTools 7.1, I have
been ubnable to implement a simple SSI call to have
the server time returned and displayed in a browser.
http://www.skilldini.com/index.shtml
Tenon's documentation explains how to *enable* ssi's,
but doesn't adequately explain how to implement them.
Nothing that I have seen thus far indicates that merely
clicking on the "Server Side Includes" Options button in
Access Controls (within the iTools admin program)
makes an ssi call from an index.shtml, for example,
display the results in a browser window. The above url
is supposed to display today's date, but I cannot find
where the ssi echo call within my html page is even
being detected <!--#echo var="date_local"-->.
I think that defining a MIME type to parse through
".shtml" files is needed, but haven't been able to
successfully set this up.
Thanks for any feedback.
