7.2 mail logging - what is it supposed to show?

Hi list,

I just applied the 7.2 update in order to see awstats tear apart the P.O.
mail logs.

But, (there's always that but) it only seems to pick up and analyze two
outgoing emails. It would be easier to debug if there were no data
whatsoever, but I see two messages reported on, but no others.

Anyone give me a run down on what the mail log analyzer is supposed to be
analyzing?

Also, how would i get awstats to parse the older logs? Is it possible or
should I just be happy that this feature is here going forward?
