I understand that if I want to upgrade to Mac OS 10.3 this is the 
procedure to follow, but my question was actually slightly different.

Must we upgrade to 10.3 in order to use iTools 7.2?

If we want to stay current with iTools, but we're not ready to use 10.3 
can we still update to iTools 7.2? 

Or is iTools 7.2 only for machines running Mac OS 10.3?
