Re: AWStats

I can move around in the terminal, and do basic stuff, but I have no idea
how to change permissions (see below) . A little guidance would be greatly
appreciated.

 trouble with for a while until Eric Yang pointed out for me this:

Hi Phil, you should be able to set permissions by logging in as root into your machine, the selecting Get Info on the items we noted in the earlier email & you can set ownership & permissions with that - otherwise, you would need to set the permissions by navigating in the terminal to the location of the files described, then doing something like this:

chmod -R 755 include

The permissions on my particular directory are as follows:

drwxr-xr-x 6 755 admin 204 Sep 6 07:20 include

So you should be able to set them like that. hope this gets you up & running
