RE: MySQL performance problem on MacOS X

Sorry to rock the boat, but most of our clients migrated to a Intel Platform 
with Linux and/or Windows. We have had terrible results with MacOS X and MySQL.

Some of my customers started using Oracle or MaxDB, that also increased the 
performance.

Maybe that is the reason why Apple starts using Intel chips :-)
