iTools
I upgraded my iTools 7.x server to Tiger last night. Now no one can log in via
ftp. ftp is running. I can't open the ftp transfer or error logs:
/Library/Tenon/FTPServer/Logs/ftp.log: 22961 lines in log.
View lines to
Unable to open Log!
Is the path "/Library/Tenon/FTPServer/Logs/ftp.log" correct? (The file may be
empty.)
In looking at the firewall settings in the Apple Pref Pane, it tells me that
there is *another* firewall running on the server and that to adjust settings,
I first need to stop the other firewall.
Is Apple using, in Tiger, a different firewall daemon? And is iTools still
running the older one?
I originally set up my firewall using Apple's pref pane and I was under the
impression that iTools' and Apple's GUI manipulated the same conf file (or
whatever).
So, I have two issues: No ftp (don't know why) and all my firewall settings are
useless, having been turned off by the Tiger upgrade.
