Tomcat config for novice?

Hi guys,

Anyone our there with Tomcat experience? I installed the Tomcat package for iTools 7, started the server, but my jsp test page say:

HTTP Status 404 - /hello.jsp

type Status report

message /hello.jsp

description The requested resource (/hello.jsp) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/5.0.19

Is there anything else I need to configure?

It functions on port 8080, but I'm wondering what the point of that is? How do I get it to function on port 80 without affecting all the other traffic and run in the same way a php script does?
